Algoma Public Health is reporting seven new cases of COVID-19, and one low risk exposure.
Anyone who sat in rows 6-10 and flight crew who served these rows on Porter Flight #683 from Toronto to Sault Ste Marie on Saturday, Dec. 18 should monitor for COVID-19 symptoms.
If symptoms occur, self isolate and get tested.
Of the seven new cases, six are in the Sault, and one is in Central and East Algoma.
Two cases were linked to close contact with a known case of COVID-19, four are of an unknown origin and one is under investigation.
This brings the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1637 in the Algoma Public Health region.
There are currently 228 active cases and seven hospitalizations in the APH.

- Central and East Algoma
- Elliot Lake and area
