On August 17 at approximately 1:30 a.m. officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Drug Enforcement Unit, Crime Suppression Unit, Emergency Services Unit and Patrol Services executed a warrant on Albion Street.

During the search officers located 28 grams of methamphetamine, 3.3 grams of heroin, 100 ml of morphine, codeine pills and drug paraphernalia. 

The estimated street value of the narcotics is $6,200. 

As a result of the warrant two persons were taken into custody and will appear in bail court this morning. 

33-year-old Sara Brock of Albion Street has been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA), one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance contrary to the CDSA, six counts of breach of a release document for being in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

32-year-old Brian Blevins of Albion Street has been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose for the purpose of trafficking contrary to the CDSA and one count of possession of a controlled drug or substance contrary to the CDSA.
