More winter weather is on the way.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for our area.
It says an Alberta clipper is expected to dump 15 cm, with higher amounts possible.
“The heaviest snowfall is expected Friday morning and will taper to light flurries Friday evening,” the warning said.
Peak snowfall rates could reach 2 to 4 cm an hour.
That’s expected to reduce visibility for drivers, making travel tricky.
“Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow,” Environment Canada said.
