Airport passenger levels down again in June

Passenger levels remain down from pre-COVID levels as well

Passenger levels in June 2024 at the Sault Ste. Marie Airport were down over 1,000 passengers from the same period a year ago.

The airport is reporting that 12,268 passengers made their way through the facility last month, down 9.1 per cent (1,232 passengers).

Year-to-date, 72,756 passengers have traveled through the Sault Airport with a high ot 12,835 in March.

By comparison, passenger levels for June were down 29 per cent from pre-pandemic levels.
