The NSHN Foundation would like to thank the members of the Richards Landing-Matthews site Auxiliary. This year, they have pledged $72,800 towards new equipment! This generous donation will fund the purchase of two defibrillators, a chest compressor, a fluid warmer, a slit lamp, as well as a neonatal resuscitator. These equipment purchases are part of a high-priority needs list created by NSHN in order to update and upgrade the hospital’s services. The NSHN Foundation would also like to note that the Richards landing-Matthews site Auxiliary has donated just over $220,000 towards equipment over the past nine years. This new equipment allows the staff at Richards Landing-Matthews site to continue providing critical care to those who need it most.

Pictured are some of the members of the Richards Landing-Matthews site Auxiliary, as well as some members of the Community Night Committee. They are an integral group in helping to raise money for the Auxiliary. One of the Auxiliary's largest fundraisers is Community Night, which takes place in Richards Landing on July 29 from 5 to 9 p.m. This year, the prizes are a handmade quilt, a mountain bike (donated by Gateway ATM), and a $500 gift certificate (donated by Kentvale Home Hardware). The Auxiliary, alongside the Citizens of the Community, offer slices of pie for sale and their famous nachos and cheese! The parade offers many prizes, so come on out and support these dedicated groups that are instrumental to your hospital’s success! The NSHN Foundation, Richards Landing-Matthews site Auxiliary, and the Community Night Committee would also want to say a huge thank you to the public. Without your generous support at events like these, as well as donations, none of this would be possible. Thank you so much!
