18-year-old faces murder charge in Muriel Drive stabbing

Police have charged an 18-year-old male with murder in relation to the stabbing death of another male on Muriel Drive.

Documents filed at the courthouse show Montana Lewis, 18, was charged with first-degree murder on Nov. 12.

Court documents list the victim as Samuel Graham.

Police said in a release last week that officers were called to the scene at 4:33 p.m. on Thursday for a report of an altercation. Officers located a victim who had been stabbed. The victim was taken to hospital and later died as a result of his injuries.

Police say the accused and victim knew each other.

Lewis’ lawyer, Bruce Willson, said a date has not yet been set for a bail hearing.
