Holy sh*t!

Canadian blues rock guitarist Tony Springer, AKA Wild T, proved this afternoon at the Bell Border Jam that he most definitely deserves the nickname "Wild."

Channeling the essence of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and maybe even a bit from James Brown, Wild T and the Spirit knocked the crowd on its heels and raised the talent bar at this first annual music festival.

Appreciative and gracious, Wild T himself made his way to the Rad Zone merch tent to meet fans and sign autographs following his electrifying performance.

It's safe to say that Wild T and the Spirit have stolen the show.

So far.

My Band, featuring Keith McKie and Mike Yurich, just finished their set of blues rock originals and covers.

Between main stage sets, local musician Mark Kuntsi is busy eceeing at the jam stage near the festival gate.

Anyone is welcome to step up and show what they've got.

Still to come tonight at Runway Park are Badfinger, Sass Jordan and Kim Mitchell.

What's next?
