• The 2023 Shadows of the Mind Film Festival continues with film screenings throughout the day at the Grand Theatre. A full festival schedule can be found online.
• Korah's Musical Theatre Production presents Into The Woods at 7 p.m. in the Korah Auditorium. Tickets are available at Korah Collegiate, at the Station Mall Box Office or at the door.
• Laugh Local North presents comedian Eric Johnson at Shooters Lounge. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are available online.
• Matthew James is set to play the Tap Room at Northern Superior Brewing from 8 to 11 p.m.
• Brendan Hodgson performs at Shooters Lounge. The music kicks off at 9 p.m.
• Shirley Marie performs at Reggie’s Place Tavern. Show time is 9 p.m.
• Sound Check plays the Esquire Club starting at 9:30 p.m.
• Jus Chillin’ will hit the stage at Jay’s Piston Broke  Pub at 9:30 p.m.

SATURDAY, FEB. 25

• Ezeee Country plays and afternoon matinee at the Moose Lodge from 2 to 5 p.m.
• Al Mooney performs at the Fraternal Order of eagles (246 Wellington St. E.) from 2 to 5 p.m.
• ACCANO presents its annual Black History Month Dinner at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre at 5 p.m. Tickets are available online.
• Korah's Musical Theatre Production presents Into The Woods at 7 p.m. in the Korah Auditorium. Tickets are available at Korah Collegiate, at the Station Mall Box Office or at the door.
• The Fishbowl Festival presents a drag show and open stage at The Klub (642 Queen St. E.) starting at 7 p.m. The evening features Lucia Pet, Lana Von Archer, Big Barbi Blitz, Franco The Dad, MaryJane Williams and Kiki Gorgeous. Admission is pay what you can.
• The Algoma Conservatory of Music presents Buzz Brass live at the Loft at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available online.
• Matthew James returns to the Whisky Barrel to play from 8 p.m. to midnight.
• Shirley Marie performs at Reggie’s Place Tavern. Show time is 9 p.m.

TUESDAY, FEB. 28

• Chess Club at the North Branch of the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library from 5 to 7:30 p.m. happens every Tuesday from Jan. 10 to March 28. All ages are welcome and registration is not required.

THURSDAY, MARCH 2

• Lego My Library happens every Thursday at the James L. McIntyre Centennial Branch Library from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
• Matthew James plays Mulligans Irish Pub from 6 to 9 p.m.
• The Moose Lodge hosts a jam night from 7 to 10 p.m.
• There's a jam night at Jay's Piston Broke Pub from 8 p.m. to midnight.
