- The Country Christmas Coffee Hour Bazaar happens at Emmanuel United Church from 9 to 11 a.m.
- The annual Holiday Gift and Craft Show at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. The event features more than 70 vendors. Admission is by donation.
- Don and Lyn play the Moose Lodge from 2 to 5 p.m.
- The Soo Greyhounds face off against the Niagara IceDogs at the GFL Memorial Gardens at 7:07 p.m.
- Matthew James will play The Whisky Barrel from 8 to midnight.

- The Bell Celebrity Skate with the Soo Greyhounds happens at the GFL Memorial Gardens at 6 p.m. Participation is by a minimum $40 in pledges. Pledge forms can be found online.
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 9
- The Sault Area Hospital Foundation presents ‘In Conversation’ with Dr. Pat Zehr and Dr. Graham Elder at The Loft at the Algoma Conservatory of Music at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available online.
- SooBlaster will host a ladies night event with The Men of Klub Kave from Toronto. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance, or $35 at the door.
- Algoma International Films with screen Jaddeh Khaki/Hit the Road directed by Panah Panahi at Galaxy Cinemas from 7 to 10 p.m.
