Kelly and the Kellygirls will be at Bottoms Up Lounge in Sault Ste. Marie on November 7 as part of their Canadian Tour.

This tour is to promote their second album We Love You, But Not As Much As We love Ourselves.

Here's the band's official blurb for this album:

*************************
The highly entertaining, fashionably versatile and always amusing talents of R. Kelly Clipperton and his band Kelly and the Kellygirls unleash their new album We Love You But, Not As Much As We Love Ourselves.

The band's first album Swing Swing received attention around the globe and saw them tour California, New York and Canada.

The new record has the horns turned up and brings Clipperton's signature wit to the fore.

We Love You But… features 10 original songs penned by Clipperton as well as a cover of Concrete Blonde's Bloodletting all honed under the production of long time co-horts Rob Sanzo and Brad 'Merlin' Nelson.

CBC has recently embraced the album.

The Ottawa Xpress describes Kelly's music as "high energy, pitch perfect and fun. Picture swing meets ska meets rock,..."

"When the Kellygirls took the stage as a zombified version of themselves, the dance floor was tight with people ready to tear it a new one," said Anna von Frances in the November 2005 issue of Scene and Heard. "Kelly Clipperton, lead singer and founder of the Kellygirls, came on stage with force – juxtaposed against intricate and upbeat horns."
