VIDEO: Trick-or-treaters come out in droves on Queen Street

Halloween returned to Queen Street on Saturday as hundreds of locals trick-or-treated along the downtown core

The downtown was a busy spot on Saturday as hundreds of families got dressed up and went trick-or-treating along Queen Street.

Arguably one of the nicest days of October in terms of weather, dozens of business owners were handing out all sorts of candy and treats for the kids.

The Old Stone House was turned into a haunted house, and the museum partnered with The Brickspace - Twin Soo Bricks to present Night At The Museum: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Organizers estimate there were upwards of 1000 kids who strolled through the downtown core this afternoon.
