VIDEO: Bay Street fills with smiles for 101st Rotary parade

Relocating from its traditional route on Queen Street, many floats with this year's Rotary Community Day Parade incorporated animals and jungle themes

It's not every day that residents see traffic going east to west on Bay Street, but Saturday was a special exception.

Hundreds of families lined the one-way road this morning for the 101st edition of the Rotary Community Day Parade.

Several dozen organizations, community groups, and sports teams designed their own floats and marched through the downtown core, many of them incorporating this year's theme: "Welcome to the Zoo."

Following the parade, attendees headed over to Clergue Park for Day 3 of this year's Rotaryfest, which wraps up tonight.
