The 10th instalment of the Toystock 'Rock the Cause' fundraising event returns to Grand Gardens (1324 Great Northern Rd.) this year on Sunday, Nov. 26 starting at noon.

The family-friendly event features 10 hours of music provided by local artists Kelly McGillivray, The Long and McQuades, Kick Start, Redundant, Head First, Soundcheck, Skin Box, Head Rush, Bourbon Blue and Bone Yard.

"Santa Claus as well as some other special guests will be there and will be available for photos," says a news release issued by event organizer GS Entertainment and Design. "We will have volunteers doing face painting, a children’s toy/play area and much more."

Admission to Toystock is by donation of new or gently used toys, puzzles, games, books, gift cards, mitts, scarves, hats, grooming items, non-perishable food items, or a cash contribution.

All donations go to support Christmas Cheer and the Stuff-A-Bus will be on location throughout the event.

"Throughout the years we have donated tonnes of toys, food and money to our local Christmas Cheer campaign and in doing so, have made many families extremely happy," the release says. "With your donations and support we want to make this the biggest and best Toystock to date! Join us and show your support for this much needed cause! Knowing you are putting smiles on families faces in our community at Christmas will be one of the best gifts you will receive!"
