The undead are taking over the streets once again on Oct. 18 during the 13th annual Soo Zombie Walk.

Join them at the Bushplane at 4 p.m. to take part in:

• Zombie Makeovers by Perfectly Painted Faces 
• Howlin' acoustic jams from Greg Callaghan 
• A bewitching Hogwarts Castle Display and Scavenger Hunt by The Brickspace 
• A Zombie Photobooth to capture your undead transformation 
• 10 spine-chilling games and activities to earn stamps on your Zombie Passport and enter for a chance to win a freakishly cool door prize! 
• Best Dressed Costume Prizes - bring your A-game and show off your Halloween creativity. 
• (Jell-O) Brain-Eating Contests - gross, fun, and only for the bravest! 
• Mouth-watering food & refleshments to keep the living and the undead satisfied.

Reports of a mysterious infection are rising across the Soo. Symptoms? An insatiable hunger for brains, staggering movements, and eerie groans that fill the air…

Whether you’ve embraced your inner zombie or plan to fend off the horde, the 13th Annual Soo Zombie Walk is back for a spine-tingling night of family fun on Friday, Oct. 18!

At 4 p.m., the doors of the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre will creak open, welcoming the living dead and Halloween enthusiasts alike for three hours of spine-tingling thrills. Expect to find: 

• Spooky Vendor Alley hosted by Algoma Maker's Market 
• Zombie Makeovers by Perfectly Painted Faces 
• Howlin' acoustic jams from Greg Callaghan 
• A bewitching Hogwarts Castle Display and Scavenger Hunt by The Brickspace

The undead fun won’t stop there. At 7 p.m. sharp, the zombie horde will rise and take to the streets for the epic Zombie Walk! Participants will stagger from the Bushplane Centre along Bay Street, right onto Brock Street, and right onto Queen Street – with a zombie pit stop at the Rad Zone to check out some seriously spooky Halloween deals. And the grand finale? A chilling photo op on the lawn of the historic Old Stone House - a perfect end to a terrifyingly fun night.

Ready to join the apocalypse? Adults need only bring $10 and a canned good donation for the Soup Kitchen Community Centre. Supervised children under 11 just need a canned good to join in the fun.
