Locals are getting a head start on their holiday shopping at the Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre this weekend as this year’s Holiday Gift and Craft Show returns downtown.

Around 70 vendors from across the area are in the festive spirit as they’re on-site selling holiday-themed treats, handcrafted pieces, quilts, jewelry, ornaments, and plenty of other knick-knacks.

The craft show will be open until 4 p.m. today and will be back tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission to the event is by donation with proceeds going to the centre.
