Seedy Saturday - Seed Exchange
March 5
The Sault Ste. Marie Horticultural Society is hosting “A Very Seedy Exchange” this Saturday, March 5. Many gardeners have saved or excess seed they would love to share, or possibly try something that they currently don’t have seeds for. This exchange will provide an opportunity for seeds to find new homes, the SSM Horticultural Society website reads. This event is free of charge and will be held at United Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until noon. More information and a list of available fruits, vegetables and flowers can be found online.
International Women’s Day Free Workouts
March 7
Celebrate International Women’s Day and take part in some self-care with a free workout class by She Moves. The classes will be taught via Facebook Live, and you can either join the trainer live or watch the replay anytime. Choose from low impact toning, stretch yoga, beginner workout, or weights class. There will also be prizes available to win.
Thrive Tours Winter Snowshoeing
March 10
The Northern Outlet and Thrive Tours are planning a fun day of snowshoeing for local youth on March 10 from 4-6 p.m. The free activity will start at Whitefish Island. Snacks and equipment will be provided. To join, fill out the registration form.
