360 SAULT MEDIA ARTS COLLECTIVE
360 Sault Media Arts Collective (360SMAC) presents 360SMAC FEST + SHOW to be held at 180 Projects, 180 Gore Street, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
360SMAC FEST + SHOW will open to the public Saturday, January 17 at 7 p.m.
On Sunday, January 18, it will open at 11 a.m. and feature a panel discussion at 2:00 pm with select contributing artists.
This event showcases media-based artworks and films by up-and-coming, mid-career and established Algoma artists.
The aim is to increase the awareness of the media arts in Sault Ste. Marie while recognizing and celebrating our local cultures and histories.
The artists in 360SMAC FEST +SHOW include Luke Grandmont, Ian Pozzebon, Angeline Castilloux, Annie King, Sam Decter, Jason Lloyd, Katy Huckson, Michael Burtch, Andrew Rutherdale + Milo Reinhardt, Drew Armstrong, Michelle Loubert, Andrea Pinheiro and Chris Shoust, among others.
The Shifters exhibition was curated by 360SMAC member Miranda Bouchard, while final selections for the film festival were made collaboratively by 360SMAC members.
The 360SMAC FEST +SHOW is a pay-what-you-can-event.
