Two weekends in November will offer a chance for you to get into the holiday spirit.
The Bushplane Museum's annual Holiday Gift and Craft Show, called the largest in northern Ontario, is slated for Nov. 2-3 and Nov. 9-10.
This year’s festive event will feature more than 180 vendors with 90 different vendors each weekend, says a news release.
It will showcase a variety of handcrafted goods, holiday décor, artisanal foods, and gifts from local creators and small businesses.
"With such a wide variety of vendors, attendees are sure to find something special for everyone on their holiday lists," says the release.
Along with shopping, there will be a kids' craft station hosted by the 4H Club and Bushplane’s canteen will be serving up its "famous chili" along with a new menu item — pulled pork sandwiches.
Those on hand will also have a chance to have their photos taken with Santa on the first weekend and the Grinch on the second. The event also includes door prizes.
Admission is by donation, and people who donate $10 or more will receive a special tote bag with vendor coupons and samples. Photos with Santa and the Grinch are "pay what you may."
