SAULT YOUTH THEATRE

For over ten years the Sault CTC and The Sault Youth Theatre have offered a fun, encouraging and inclusive theatre experience where learners may express themselves and grow in confidence under the direction of professional calibre instructors. 

We invite learners ages 9 through teen years to participate in ten exceptional days of theatre exploration through acting workshops including: improvisation, character work, physical comedy, movement, script work, the speaking voice, ensemble building and scene study, singing/finding the natural voice. 

Coaches include Loretta Durat and Anthony Aceti. Bob Cooper is our Camp Director/Coach.   

Skills developed will bridge into a showcase performance of the fun and fantastical Space Pirates! Winner of the 2015 Children's Musical Theatre Festival, NYC., this new play designed for young actors incorporates many strong roles and various musical styles with themes of anti-bullying, acceptance, appreciation, adventure and aliens.

​The program runs July 10-21 weekdays  (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.) at the Sault CTC (1007 Trunk Road, Sault Ste. Marie).
