Enjoy some popcorn and a movie at Algoma University! On Thursday, March 8, Algoma U and REEL CANADA will be showing Canadian-made film One Week, starring Joshua Jackson, in the Great West Life Amphitheatre (NW200) beginning at 7 p.m.

One Week is a classic road trip movie. After being diagnosed with cancer and given little time to live, Ben Tyler (Jackson), impulsively buys a motorcycle and travels to the west coast, leaving behind his sensible life. The film follows Tyler’s journey from Toronto, Ont. to Tofino, B.C. and features Canadian icons, including Gord Downie of The Tragically Hip.
