It was an impressive crowd at The Speak Easy last Monday night as Pat and his friends partied in the Sault.
Over 150 fans braved the cold weather and set aside studying for upcoming exams to see Pat Robitaille, Dale Willis and Aaron Garner who showcased with an acoustic performance at the Algoma U pub.
If the buzz in the room and reactions to the amazing original music were any indication-nobody went home disappointed.
Aaron Garner warmed up the stage with his solo acoustic performance. Garner’s vocal talent was evident immediately as he started off with a few of his own original songs and seemed very impressed that the Sault fans were liking his style.
The track “Head full of Rain” was a clear standout and is available on his CD, Between the Lines.

The second act was the much anticipated Australian guitar champion, Dale Willis. Within seconds of Dale hitting the stage the crowd was electrified. His acoustic guitar work was simply incredible.
The one-man band managed to simultaneously play rhythm, lead and bassline while keeping a funky beat slapping his acoustic guitar with his hands. Oh yeah, and he sings really well too. Dale's cover of Bob Dylan/Jimi Hendrix "All Along the Watchtower" would be guaranteed to impress the very rock gods who wrote it.
For any guitar enthusiasts this is an absolutely must see performance. You can find more info on Dale at www.dalewillis.com.
Finally Pat Robitaille made his return to the Sault complete by playing to the screaming fans in the front row sporting the “Pat fan Club” T-shirts. He played many of his own originals and a couple covers before inviting Aaron and Dale back onto the stage to play a few final songs.
The three performers on stage was a fitting cap to an evening that was sure to make fans out of anyone in the room, and ensure that there will be a lot of us Saultites eagerly awaiting their return.
