Paint night fundraiser to benefit youth mental health

The Sault Ste. Marie Museum and the New Northern Mentality Youth Group are holding a paint night fundraising event Sept. 5 at 7 p.m.

The groups will guide participants through a tranquil lakeside painting. Broers Jansen will be on site with a cash bar and signature cocktail available for purchase for this 19+ event, a news release said.

Proceeds will go towards mental health advocacy training for youth within the organization. The New Northern Mentality Youth Group is a youth-led advocacy group focused on opening up about mental health and breaking down related stigmas in our community.
