Absolute Complete Entertainment announces open casting call for Summer Nights Live written and directed by Ryan Byrne

Absolute Complete Entertainment is preparing for its highly anticipated sequel set to showcase November, 2011.

The latest initiative will mimic a true local story and bring it live to the stage.

The show will feature an assortment of songs spanning all genres of music.

A.C.E. invites all dancers, singers and musicians interested in participating in the full-stage production of Summer Nights Live to come to the open auditions on May 29.

Summer Nights Live will take place at the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre November 5, 2011.

Tickets will be available for purchase in the upcoming weeks at the Station Mall Box Office.

Absolute Complete Entertainment's production of Summer Nights Live is creatively directed by Richard Kim and produced by Jennifer Barbeau & Sara D'Amelio, with choreography from Tiffany McLean and musical direction by Greg Ryckman.

This innovative and diverse team is committed to producing a revolutionary performance, inducing viewers into an emotional realm while leaving them with a feeling of "inspiration."

Sunday, May 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Music & talent auditions (16+)

Sunday, May 29 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Vocal auditions (12+)

Information

Singers can learn songs "Love The Way You Lie, Part 2" by Rihanna, & "Into Dust" by Mazzy Star, to better prepare for audition.

Dancers can listen to the song "Losing Your Memory" by Ryan Star for their audition.

Cast requirements

Female principal: female singer/songwriter

Secondary vocalists: harmonies, and chorus

Lead dancer principal: The Lady Divines (seven dancers)

Ensemble dancers: supporting dancers for big production numbers

Musicians: horns, bagpipes, harp, keyboards, bass, guitar

In addition to the featured roles, there are opportunities for new roles.

This production will be adapted, created and inspired by the cast that joins the team.

Once casting has completed we will start to script unique roles for all talent involved with the production.

Synopsis - Summer Nights Live

Enter a world where light and darkness artistically highlight an emotionally charged journey of romance.

The male subject battles the contradictory messages of expectation and creativity.

Emotionally lost in a past relationship, he finds solitude in music composition.

Through the music, he validates his inner motives while capturing the negative eye.

Creative attempts to distract his mind are bombarded with negativity resulting in the demise of his prior existence.

He is driven to the point of emotional breakdown.

Months later he finds himself thrown into the complex and peaceful world of dance.

This sense of belonging fuses his reintegration and he is lifted from the dark ashes of what he considers to be hell.

Together they embark on a collective journey to express art through dance, music, and emotion.

This will be their Summer Night.
