Superior Heights OnStage is proud to announce that ticket sales are through the roof for the upcoming production of Monty Python’s Spamalot musical, based on the cult classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

“This is one of the best-selling shows we have ever done! It’s terrific news,” says director Anthony Aceti. “Most of our ticket sales in the past for our other productions are sold the night of, but demand has been so high that pre-sales are surprising all of us on the production team.”

The musical follows King Arthur of Camelot and his Knights of the Round Table as they go on a quest to find the Holy Grail. Along the way they meet iconic characters from the Monty Python sketch comedy classic like the mysterious Lady of the Lake, the annoying Knights of Ni, a very lonely Prince Herbert, and the un-slayable Black Knight. Songs and dances from the hit Tony-winning musical include Not Yet Dead and Find Your Grail and Always Look on the Bright Side of Life.

The musical runs Feb. 28 through March 2 at the Sault Community Theatre Centre. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door or the main office at Superior Heights. They are also sold online through Superior Heights OnStage.

The Mayor of Sault Ste. Marie – Matthew Shoemaker – will make a special guest appearance as part of the production.
