SAULT STE. MARIE, MICH. - Oldies 93 presents Little River Band at DreamMakers Theater on Sunday, June 24, 2018. Little River Band is hotter than ever selling out shows and making music from coast to coast, continuing their legacy of being “the best singing band in the world.” Tickets start at $25. You can purchase tickets online or at the gift shops at Kewadin Casinos Sault Ste. Marie or St. Ignace beginning Feb. 13 at 9 a.m.

Through the ‘70s and ‘80s, Little River Band enjoyed huge chart success with multi-platinum albums and chart topping hits like Reminiscing, Cool Change, Lonesome Loser, The Night Owls, Take It Easy On Me and Help Is on Its Way. They were the first band to set a record for having had Top 10 hits for six consecutive years.

“This band has gone through a transition since they first started,” said Russ McKerchie, Kewadin Casinos representative. “It’s good to see them still rocking out after all these years and with new members. We are excited to have them at Kewadin Casinos.”

Bringing their vocal and musical energy along with some cool arrangements to their timeless classic hits, each show creates new memories for the audience. The band enjoys watching their fans fall in love with the songs all over again as they are swept up by the show’s powerful performance and the volume of hits from LRB’s history.

“This tour has been more than we could have ever imagined so far,” says Wayne Nelson, lead vocalist. “We have a great group and we love what we do. When you have those things, everything else seems to work out just fine.”

Those coming to watch Little River Band perform can also play at over 700 slot machines and numerous table games before and after the show at Kewadin Casino Sault Ste. Marie or sit down for a wonderful meal at DreamCatchers Restaurant.

Besides the Kewadin Casino in Sault Ste. Marie, the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians owns and operates casinos in St. Ignace, Manistique, Christmas and Hessel.

Located in one of the most scenic regions of North America, Kewadin Casinos currently offers 2,031 slot machines, 55 table games, hotels, dining and other amenities at five properties in Michigan’s eastern and central Upper Peninsula. Owned and operated by the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, Kewadin Casinos are the premier gaming destinations for people who live in and visit the Upper Peninsula, which is bordered on the south by Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, on the west by Wisconsin, and on the north by Lake Superior and Canada.
