In an effort to breathe new life into the Arts Council of Algoma, Sault Ste. Marie's Tagona Press is partnering with the local arts organization to host 'Tis the Season, a makers market and exhibition on Nov. 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"Tagona Press is currently assisting with the Algoma Arts Council’s re-invigoration," says a news release issued by Tagona Press. "The COVID pandemic played havoc with many local and regional cultural organizations, but a committed Arts Council volunteer team is determined to build on the council’s excellent local legacy into 2024 and beyond."

"Tis the Season will also serve as an introduction to an ambitious two-day Sault arts and culture festival being planned for April 2024 – The Word, all things literary and storytelling, with a robust visual arts companion, The Vision."

Regional artists and authors who wish to take part in 'Tis the Season happening at the Delta Waterfront Hotel are encouraged to express interest by emailing the Arts Council ([email protected]) and/or Tagona Press ([email protected]). A $20 table rental fee is required.
