NEWS RELEASE
JAMES STREET MARKET
*************************
The James Street Market is returning to Sault Ste. Marie this weekend. Building on the momentum from last month's Market, the Fall James Street Market will take place on Saturday, Sept. 22 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The market will include live entertainment along with arts and culture vendors with handmade items available for purchase.

The first James Street Market hosted in August was a great success. This Market hosts more vendors and food by Nonna’s Cucina. An added bonus is the opportunity for a free hot dog coupon from J. Caroline’s redeemable at the Downtown Street Party happening that same afternoon.

In conjunction with the James Street Market, the City of Sault Ste. Marie's Planning Department is organizing a guided walk around James Street to discuss the neighbourhood's past, present and future. Participants are encouraged to meet in front of the Shape the Sault booth at 10 a.m. for the walk.

James Street Market partners including Social Services, Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, John Howard Society, Algoma Public Health, Healthy Kids Community Challenge, City of Sault Ste. Marie, Soup Kitchen, Shape the Sault and New to the Sault invite everyone to come out and check it out.

For more details, visit the James Street Market event page  on Facebook. Like and share the event page to be entered into a draw to win a $100 voucher to spend at the Market on Sept. 22.
