It took 52 weeks for Tebey to scratch this off his bucket list (11 photos)

The Canadian country artist performed at the Machine Shop Monday night with special guest Matt Lang

It took 52 weeks for Tebey's single Who's Gonna Love You to climb the charts all the way to No. 1 last year. At least that's what the Canadian country artist told the audience at the Machine Shop early into his performance Monday night.

"That was definitely a bucket list item," he said.

Now living in Nashville, the Peterborough, Ont. singer-songwriter also etched out a career penning and producing tracks for other acts – both country and pop – including Cher, One Direction, Flo Frida, Shawn Desman, Justin Moore, Gord Bamford, and many others.

Currently in the middle of his cross-Canada The Good Ones tour with support from Quebec's Matt Lang, Tebey has a number of Ontario stops scheduled, including those in Sudbury, Barrie, Ottawa, and Toronto.
