There still may be hope.
The current White Stripes cross-Canada tour has been spotted with a few secret shows.
The latest occurred on Sunday, July 1 in a Saskatoon bowling alley.
Alley operator, Allison Hunter got the call from the White Stripes' management Saturday evening around 7:30 p.m. that a secret show would be taking place at her establishment.
By 3 p.m. Sunday, she had managed to round up just under 200 people, eager to here what Jack and Meg had in store.
The short, yet very sweet five-song set included Red Bowling Ball Ruth, Let's Shake Hands, Lafayette Blues, I Fought Piranhas and Let's Build a House.
During the final song, Jack even tested his skill at bowling, his first shot a gutter ball and the next leaving only two pins standing.

Looking at the tour schedule, Jack and Meg should be passing through Sault Ste. Marie sometime today or tomorrow morning to reach their July 5 gig at Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre.
That is if they are traveling by bus.
Just a reminder, Jack.
We have plenty of beautiful spots with a clear view of the Sault, Michigan fireworks if you would like to stop and celebrate your Nation's birthday.
We also have a few bowling alleys if you desire more practice.
