The Canadian Night Club, 410 Pim Street, is pleased to host the Toronto-based Nu-Funk band God Made Me Funky (GMMF) as they groove their way across the nation promoting their March 11, 2008 Juno-nominated release, Enter the Beat.
With influences like Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Sly and the Family Stone, Jamiroquai and the Roots, and having shared stage time with Afrika Bambatta, Guru, Bedouin Soundclash and Divine Brown, GMMF come armed with enough funkability to stir the dead.
Tickets, available at the bar, are $5 in advance or $8 at the door.
Doors open at 9 p.m.
