The spirit of history is alive and well on St. Joseph’s Island this weekend and they’re giving guided tours to show visitors how vibrant life was during the time Fort St Joseph, now a National Historical Landmark, was in operation.
Ghostwalk tours of the archaeology ruins will be offered at 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 20, 21. To find the fort, just follow the Parks Canada beaver signs for about 37km, once you get off the bridge. Cost for the Ghostwalk is $5.00.
For more information call the park during business hours, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at (705) 246-2664, email at [email protected] or visit the website at http://www.pc.gc.ca/lhn-nhs/on/stjoseph/index_e.asp
