GALLERY: All dressed up for an afternoon of ‘trunk-or-treating’

Hosted by the Algoma Autism Foundation, annual event invites dozens of local kids with special needs to go trick-or-treating in a sensory-friendly setting

Local families celebrated Halloween a couple weeks early on Saturday as the Algoma Autism Foundation hosted its annual "Trunk or Treat" at the Northwood Funeral Home parking lot.

Local organizations and families decorated the backs of their vehicles and handed out candy to young children who live with autism and other special needs.

This year's event was as creative as ever! Check out the photo gallery above.
