Students at Central Algoma Secondary and Intermediate Schools will be taking Saultites on a hilarious and spine-tingling adventure next year.

They’ll be performing the beloved musical Little Shop of Horrors from Feb. 12 to 14 at the Sault Community Theatre Centre.

The show tells the story of meek flower shop assistant Seymour Krelborn who discovers a mysterious plant that feeds on human blood. As the plant grows, so does its appetite.

“This production promises a thrilling blend of comedy, music, and suspense, with plenty of scares to keep audiences on the edge of their seats,” said a news release from Central Algoma Secondary School.

The cast includes Pharaoh MacInnes as Seymour Krelborn, Maggie Chapman as Audrey Two, Kyra Martin as Mushnik, Brody Kehoe as Orin Scrivello, Sid Grasley as the Audrey II Singer, and Kai Allard, Elora Byman, Eowyn Christenson, Charie Cripps, and Betsy Carter as the Doo-wop Girls.

Connor Bingham will take on the role of Fake Shemp, and the ensemble will feature Shelby Lee, Evelyne Adams, Elizabeth Weber, Lillianne Adams, Ciara Varley, Phoebe Kahtava-Heeney, and Lily Telfer.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the school or the Sault Box Office.
