Ernie's Coffee Shop gets its time in the spotlight

Now that Low and Slow has had its You Gotta Eat Here! moment, the spotlight will shine on Ernie’s Coffee Shop.

The Queen Street East diner, owned and operated by Chuck Febbraro, will be part of a season five episode set to air at 9 p.m. on April 15, 2016 on Food Network Canada.

According to the episode synopsis, You Gotta Eat Here! host John Catucci finished his “diner dinner with an old timey coconut cream pie” during filming at Ernie’s Coffee Shop.

We’re not sure if he polished off an entire pie, but we wouldn’t be surprised.

Ernie’s Coffee Shop pies are pretty irresistible.

In addition to featuring The Sault’s own downtown diner, the upcoming episode includes stops at Cleveland’s Melt Bar & Grilled and Windsor, Ontario’s MamO Burger Bar.
