Their website tells us very little. They formed on September 6th, 2002. They first practiced together as a band on February, 2003. They first played live on May 2nd, 2003. Their debut Canadian release "Ready, Set...Do" was released on September 14th, 2004 to rave reviews. They will be playing Loplops Lounge on Tuesday, September 28th.

Acoustic jangle-punk trio, The Doers may have an odd way of marketing themselves, but fortunately their music speaks for itself. The Vancouver-based band have been compared to alt-legends fIREHOSE, which only makes sense considering ex-fIREHOSE Mike Watt plays on four songs on the Doers' debut platter. Despite being likened to the legendary band, The Doers have still managed carve out their own sound and place in the Canadian music scene.

With heavy drink, clever wit, killer musicianship, and some missing front teeth, The Doers will be gracing the stage at Loplops tomorrow night for a 'one-night only' performance.

Loplops Lounge is located at 651 Queen Street East (next to the Duke of Windsor). For more information, visit www.loplops.com.
