Algoma Repertory Theatre (ART) and the production team of Tony n’ Tina's Wedding would like to announce that an additional night is being added to their upcoming dinner theatre show. Performances on March 30-31 and April 1, 2023, are sold out.

Thanks to strong community support and demand for additional opportunities to see the show, we have decided to add another night! Tickets are now on sale for Wednesday, March 29.

The Nunzio and Vitale families request the pleasure of your company at the nuptials of their son, Anthony Angelo Nunzio Jr. and daughter, Valentina Lynne Vitale. They also request that should you feel so inclined, to please dress in your favourite 1980s-themed outfits! It is 1985 after all.

Doors open at 5:45 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. The reception will take place at the Sault’s premiere wedding venue, the Machine Shop (83 Huron St.), with a specially prepared five-course dinner, and dancing to follow. Dietary restrictions will be respected with advance notice. A cash bar will be available. Presents for the bride and groom are not requested.

Tickets are $85 per person and are general admission, however, we will do our best to have groups seated together. Tickets for the Wednesday performance are available now and can be purchased online at www.artinssm.com/wedding or by contacting Marc Beaudette at 705-943-9519.

Join "la famiglia" for the biggest, wildest Italian wedding ever to hit Sault Ste. Marie! Audiences play wedding guests at a mock ceremony and reception, which means dinner, dancing, drinking and an array of characters and revelations — the Nunzio and Vitale families hate one another, the maid of honour is pregnant, the priest is getting sloshed — that are over-the-top versions of what you might find at any big, noisy, semi-dysfunctional marital celebration. It will be a truly immersive, environmental theatre experience with a talented, interactive, and improvisational comedy cast.

“It’s a sweet pileup of actual and phoney, of performance and reality, and you briefly exist on both sides of the line simultaneously.” - New York Times

“This wedding is most memorable for its little moments – moments that only you, as an astute observer of human nature, eavesdropping from the next table, would pick up on.” - L.A. Times

Marc Beaudette and Kara Colynuck, two of the founding members of Algoma Repertory Theatre, will be co-directing. The cast of 24 features several veterans on the local stage and some new performers that may just surprise you.
