Celebrate Culture Days!
Culture Days will be celebrating the theme of crafts this year at the following locations along the waterfront on September 25 and 26.
Friday, September 25
Centennial Library will be hosting craft displays and demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. including the Elite Dance Force and a travelling troupe called D.R.O.P. (Down Right Original Puppetry).
The Art Gallery of Algoma will be featuring art techniques with Frank Belleau and Rihkee Strapp, as well as ‘Clay it Forward’ with Sandra Hodge from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Sault Community Career Centre, Sault Ste. Marie and Area Local Immigration Partnership and the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library will be providing a complimentary lunch for the first 100 people from the Gnarly Bistro Gourmet Food Truck, located outside the Centennial Library.
The Ermatinger Clergue National Historic Site and Centre Francophone Sault Ste. Marie will be celebrating Franco-Ontarian Day.
Saturday, September 26
Northern Ontario “Etsy” will be at the Ermatinger Clergue National Historical Site showcasing crafters, collectors and artisans.
There will be activities for all ages so come out and join the fun!
