If you caught Adam Proulx’s Baker's Dozen: 12 Angry Puppets at the 2015 Sault Pridefest, you definitely don’t want to miss his next hilarious adult puppet show, Does Not Play Well With Others - a hilarious look at the backstage life of two public television puppeteers who are under increasing scrutiny after the children’s show they perform on is hit by a sex scandal.

The show has been on tour since the spring of 2016, and has received glowing reviews: “A whirlwind of fast paced dark humour, raw emotion, and original songs to keep the audience laughing and thinking.” - Showbill, Victoria.

While there are moments of brilliant whit and razor-sharp dialogue, Proulx says his drive to write the play stemmed from Robin William’s struggle with mental illness.

Not only does the show reflect the loss of an idol, but Does Not Play Well With Others was Adam’s last collaboration with the late Sue Barber, Proulx’s mentor and dear friend. Sue Barber helped Adam write the hilarious and catchy tunes for the show.
