Comedics plan to leave everyone in stitches

The Comedics will be lending their madcap talent to a special fundraising night for ARCH Hospice.

The Great Bucket List Challenge hits the stage at The Loft Oct. 27 with Cabaret with the Comedics and special guest Duo Turgeon.

The Great Bucket List Challenge has had a positive impact on the community, encouraging people to get out of their comfort zone and try something new. It was started to encourage the community to live their dreams, all while supporting ARCH Hospice and inspiring others. The Comedics are a wacky group of doctors and associates who “specialize” in keeping their audience in stitches. In the past 27 years, this group has donated their time and talent to events that have raised well over $2 million for local charitable groups like Bon Soo Winter Carnival, Canadian Red Cross, Relay for Life, Sault Area Hospitals, Sault Theatre Workshop, the Alzheimer Society and more.

ARCH provides end-of-life care to thousands of people and families in the Algoma region, the release said.

“Laughter is truly the best medicine, but side effects may with any medicine. Accordingly, I must inform you about the possibility of a red face, tears, sore cheeks, or a damp seat.” said Dr. Eugene Turgeon.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the performance starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $60.00 per person and include hors d’oeuvres by Rosetta Sicoli. Tickets are available at ARCH Hospice or by contacting Sara Feltham.
