About The Waxbills

Canadian independent rock trio The Waxbills are embarking on yet another west coast tour.

With the great success of their sophomore release Hard to Lose, one of Canada's hardest working bands are set to hit the road and tour Canada for the second time in six months.

The tour will kick off in Sarnia On, and will take the act to B.C. in a tightly knit schedule of 20 shows in 24 days.

Following the tour, the Waxbills are also scheduled to perform at the 2010 Niagara Music Awards on June 15 in Southern Ontario.

The band won two NMA's at the 2009 ceremony, taking home album of the year for its '08 release, The Way it Goes as well as best original band.

Going forward, the Waxbills look ahead to continuing the work of helping put Canadian music on the main stage.

Thank you to all the people who have helped make this tour possible, and helping showcase and shed light on exceptional Canadian music.
