Best performances from past Canadian Idol top two competitors now available for year-round enjoyment

TORONTO, - Relive the magic of Canada's most-watched homegrown series as Sony BMG Music (Canada) Inc. releases two new DVD collections: Canadian Idol - Greatest Performances - Seasons 1 & 2 and Canadian Idol - Greatest Performances - Season 3.

In stores across the country today, the collection of Canadian Idol - Greatest Performances DVDs are packed with bonus interviews and some of the most memorable songs from the top two Canadian Idol competitors as seen in the first three seasons of the hit CTV series.

The Canadian Idol - Greatest Performances - Season 1 & 2 DVD collection features performances from past Idol winners Ryan Malcolm (2003 - pictured) and Kalan Porter (2004).

Runners-up Gary Beals (2003) and Theresa Sokyrka (2004) also perform along with bonus interview footage with the top two competitors from both seasons.

In 2005, winner Melissa O'Neil and runner-up Rex Goudie won the hearts of Canadians across the country.

Now, Canadian Idol - Greatest Performances - Season 3 recaps Melissa and Rex's most popular performances.
