Buy a virtual shingle for 'Fiddler on the Roof' fundraiser

The Musical Comedy Guild of Sault Ste. Marie is looking for people to support its Fiddler on the Roof production this fall.

The award-winning tale of Tevye the Dairyman and his family struggles in a changing Russia will be staged from November 29 to December 2.

The group is holding a fundraiser where members of the public can purchase virtual shingles for Tevye’s roof.

“Community members or businesses can purchase one shingle for $10 or a bundle for $60,” the guild said in a news release. 

“All purchases will be acknowledged in our program and bundle purchasers will also be acknowledged with three social media mentions with the purchaser’s choice of links and logos.”
