SooToday received the following letter in response to a recent story on Eric Mearow being released from custody last month and reaction from Sandra Hallam, mother of Wesley, who Mearow was convicted of killing.
I agree with Wesley Hallam's mother - this makes no sense to me to have him released back into society to potentially reoffend! I believe in giving people second chances but this is not the first time for him.
He is a habitual offender. I wonder what has happened to our justice system that the criminals seem to have more rights than those of us that follow society's rules.
We are forced to abide by bleeding hearts.
It might be a case of potential criminals reconsidering their choices in life to become productive members of society.
