Ernie's Coffee Shop has been a landmark in Sault Ste Marie since 1971 and new owner, John Armstrong, is keeping traditions alive with a simple, locally sourced menu.
Armstrong, a graduate of the culinary program at Sault College, has reopened the doors serving up his take on new items and the classics. He spent a month with original owners, the Febbraro family, before taking over in January.
