For any residents in need of a sugar rush this weekend, Hogan's Homestead was the place to be.
The Goulais-area sugar shack enjoyed beautiful weather conditions as they invited hundreds to take in their annual Maple Weekend event.
Baked goods, maple taffy, roasted marshmallows, Beavertails, and syrup sampling were among the tasty highlights between Saturday and Sunday.
SooToday was even offered a chance to try a chili infused maple syrup – one of several exclusive Hogan's items.
Attendees also enjoyed a maker's market and guided hikes through the sugar bush.
In an unprecedented start to the year, Erica and Spencer Hogan began the syrup making process in January – the earliest they had ever boiled.
They're hoping to produce 200 barrels at 595 pounds apiece by the end of the 2024 season.
