The latest provincial lockdown may have put a damper on some things, but one thing that can almost always boost your mood is delicious food.
Rosetta Sicoli, a well-known caterer in our community, is preparing take-out dinners for two, that you can order for yourself and a loved one this week.
The menu for the set dinner for two includes white bean soup with kale, sweet potatoes and cannelli beans, panzanella salad, and homemade focaccia bread dressed with herbs. Enjoy a main course of pork cutlets with a creamy mushroom Marsala sauce, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes.
The cost for the takeout dinner is $65, which includes a donation to the Algoma Conservatory of Music. Payment will be accepted in cash or e-transfer.
To order your take-out dinner, contact Rosetta Sicoli directly through email or by calling 705-971-0429. You can order for Tuesday, Jan. 18 or Wednesday, Jan. 19 and pick it up at the Algoma Conservatory between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on those days.
The deadline to order is Sunday, Jan. 16 at 6 p.m.
“This five-item feast is prepared with lots of fresh vegetables and herbs. They are delicious,” said conservatory principal Guy Traficante in a news release.
Sicoli will also be catering for the full season of events happening at the loft at the Algoma Conservatory of Music.
“Hopefully the lockdown will be over soon and the concert season, lessons and special events can begin,” he said.
