Hi Mom,
One year already. One year of not hearing your voice or laughter. One year of not feeling your hugs or kisses. One year of not having special occasions celebrated with you or just getting together for no reason at all. One year of reflecting on life and its meaning.
Mom we know you are in heaven with daddy and happy being with all of your family. That gives us great peace. You taught us so much in our lifetime that we are okay to be without you. It’s not easy some days but we know you are still with us. One thing we learned is to live life to the fullest and let your family know you love them and treat friends like family. In the end that’s all that matters.
In one more year I’m sure I will still miss you the same but it might be easier.
