SooToday meteorologist Jerry Shields says a light dusting of snow arrives today with 1 to 3 cm starting in the late afternoon. Daytime highs should be near normal values for mid-January at -6C.
The daytime high is will reach up to -7C, with the windchill bringing the temperature down to -24C in the morning, then to -13C in the afternoon.
Tonight, skies are expected to be clear, save for sporadic cloudy periods with a 40 per cent chance of flurries.
The overnight low will reach down to -12C.
