SooToday meteorologist Jerry Shields says today we may see brief heavy snow in the morning thanks to bands of snow squalls coming in off of Lake Superior.
This activity should taper off in the afternoon, with gradual clearing by sunset. Some areas that see extended periods of squalls could easily see more than 10 cm of snow accumulate. Daytime highs should climb to near -2 C.
Tonight, the sky will be clear and the overnight low will reach -8 C.
