Creative Nest Studio is a handmade dream built in 2013, owned/operated by husband-and-wife team, Andrew and Diana Petainen of Sault Ste. Marie. As the recipient of the Algoma Visionary Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship in 2019, we pride ourselves on offering the best in both quality and kind customer service to our community members and beyond. In addition, the love and commitment we hold for our city is demonstrated through our support of a number of local charitable causes and fundraising initiatives over the years, as well as through assisting fellow small local businesses with their signage, décor and packaging needs. Our mission? To inspire our customers to find joy and appreciation in the world of handmade.
After successfully launching an event-based studio and artisan boutique in our city’s downtown for three years, they have since transitioned back home and continue to proudly offer do-it-yourself crafting kits and subscription boxes for the both adults and children, in addition to a variety of ready-made décor pieces including:
